Ever since human being came into existence, mankind has relentlessly pursued exploring environmental surroundings and asked questions about the existence of reality and about the nature of being. These explorations and quests to know and understand have built an epistemological basis for all future knowledge. Knowledge has been culturally cumulative, as Newton had once said, “I can see far and wide because I am standing on the gains made by my ancestors in the domain of knowledge.” Hence all pursuits in the academic milieu have to be seen comprehensively and not in a compartmentalized manner of putting acquired knowledge in various disciplinary silos. This journal thus is an attempt to provide a substratum for interdisciplinary as well as multidisciplinary research. It would be pertinent to refer to Robert K. Merton, who emphasized the fundamental values of science, namely, organized skepticism and communality of shared knowledge.

Famous Greek philosopher Parmenides said that reality is a combination of multiple things, their forms and motion of their change. Another philosopher, Heraclitus, too, believed that reality consists of law like interchange of elements, an ongoing process governed by a law of perpetual change, which was much later reiterated by Karl Marx in a different context and manner. In this perspective, this journal invites one and all who are interested in a forum that promotes sharing of new researches and ideas in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective.
